The Indian community in Ireland celebrated Diwali in 2025 at the Kilcurry Resource Centre under the banner of the Krishna Academy of Social Sciences Ireland.

The event began with Ganesh Vandana and the Gayatri Mantra recited by children, followed by Lakshmi Puja and the ceremonial lighting of diyas. Distinguished guests and community members joined in the celebrations, reflecting the spirit of unity and cultural pride.

The programme featured a vibrant mix of performances, including a fashion show, music, and multicultural dance presentations such as classical Indian, contemporary, Irish, and international group dances. Children showcased India’s diversity through traditional attire representing different states.

Festivities also included games, bingo, Antakshri, fireworks, and DJ music, creating a lively atmosphere for families. The venue was beautifully decorated with Rangoli and festive displays by volunteers. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a traditional Indian dinner served.
